MTV’s “Flawed” stars and their fans took to the stage on Friday to make their case for why they should be awarded a new MTV award.
The show also took a look at some of the latest celebrity feuds and the many reasons that people love and hate each other on the social media platform.
“It’s so easy to get lost in the moment,” said one of the stars, who was wearing a matching bikini.
“The things you want to say, but you can’t.
The people you want on your side, but they’re going to say whatever they want.”
The cast of “Flaws” is also up for the coveted MTV “Best New Artist” award.
And they are not alone.
“Freckle” singer Jason Isbell and “Loser” singer Brittany Murphy were among the celebrities who spoke up on social media about their awards.
“I want to win,” Isbell told MTV.
“It’s a honor to be nominated for an MTV award and I don’t think I ever want to be on the other side.”
“I love the MTV awards,” Murphy added.
“They’re great and they’re fun, but I just think it’s hard to win.”
“Fails” singer David Banner is another one who spoke out on social, saying, “I just don’t want to get on the losing side.
I just want to do what I do best, which is not win.””
We love the awards,” added former Teen Mom OG star Briana DeJesus.
“We’re not trying to take the show down.
We’re just trying to be in the spotlight.”
Fans also took to Twitter to voice their support for the new MTV awards, with many tweeting about their favorite celebrities.
“What a great honor to win an MTV Music Award,” tweeted one fan.
“You are a real star.
Thank you so much.”
“What an honor to get an MTV Award for my favorite MTV stars,” tweeted another.
“Great to be a part of the MTV Family!” tweeted another fan.
Some celebrities even went to great lengths to avoid the spotlight.
“Gotta love MTV for letting me be a celebrity,” one of “MTV’s Most Popular Stars” told “Failed.”
“I don’t really want to talk about the show.
I’m really, really busy.””
So happy that we’re getting to work with the best of the best,” said “Faulty” star Laganja Estranja, who has appeared on MTV shows like “Mama,” “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” and “Bachelor” among others.
“This is really exciting for me.
I feel so fortunate to be able to work on the show and to have a lot of friends that I’m a part in.
It’s just so exciting.”
